The frequent changes in names and requirements for legal residence and citizenship create what can seem to be an impossible labyrinth for an immigrant. Thus, the mission of ASSFAM is to not only inform immigrants of their rights as foreigners in this country, also to address their practical needs as they transition to life in France.
